# Notify assigned user, when topic is unsolved for X days

Hi,
We already have the Solution und the Assign Function - it works absolutly great!
Now it would be cool, if the assigned user gets a notification when his assigned topic is still unsolved after f.e. 5 days.
Is there a plug-in or a specific setting?

By default you are reminded of pending assignments via a PM, but as I recall it’s more of a monthly thing rather than weekly. I can’t recall if this is configurable, but you might try looking in the plugin settings.

The settings allows you to select a reminder frequency for assigned. nothing about unassigned

Can I set a rule, that the reminder only lists topics that are unsolved? 🤔

Marking a topic solved should automatically unassign whoever is assigned to the topic, as I recall?

There’s an `unassign on close` setting but I don’t see any unassign on solve.

Me neither. I couldn’t find a _unassign on solve_.
However that would be awesome 🙂
