# Numeric/Average Poll

This may sound embarrassing, but how do you use a numeric/average poll? It just keeps doing this and I don’t know why.

We could probably clarify the text to make this a little clearer…

What you have in your screenshot is:

- A range of choices from 1 (min) - 1 (max) (so only 1 total)
- Each choice should increase by 11 (step)

But you can’t have 11 step with 1 choice, because it would start from 1 and has nothing to increase by 11 because there’s only 1 choice.

Some more examples to demonstrate how these options work:

Starts at 1 (min) and will increase every option by 2 (step) up to 30 (max)
