# Odd paste behaviour when composing a PM with user Preferences open in background

Discourse: 1.7.0.beta8 +20,
Client: Chrome on Win10.
User: Trust Level 1
With composer open to compose a message (about changing profile preferences) I had my user prefs. open. I was using the snipping tool to add screenshots to my Message.
Every time I pasted a screenshot into the composer window it also appended the same screenshots to the “About Me” field of my Profile.
Not exactly a showstopper flaw, but a bit disorienting (especially if you happen to take a snip of the “About Me” part of your profile).

Pretty sure @neil fixed this in the prefs page redesign
