# OIDC Error

I’m using using the discourse openid connect plugin, and all of a sudden users are getting this error.
> Sorry, there was an error while trying to authorize your acocunt with OIDC. Please try again.
Got a ticket open with IT team, but just wondering if anyone has seen this before.

That looks like the OpenID Connect (OIDC) login failing between your forum and the identity provider. I don’t have access to your server logs, but the admin can turn on verbose\_auth\_logs and then check /logs for the exact reason. That should show whether it’s a cookie/session mismatch, a claim mismatch, or another OIDC setting.
