A client wanted to use [Discourse Web Page Watermark](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-web-page-watermark/214108), but it’s broken. So, on a lark, I asked the AI if it could add a watermark to the background, and it gave me CSS that I was able to paste in to the CSS of a theme component, and sure enough, it added a watermark to the page. Then I asked it if it could make it repeat, and it did that. Then I asked it if it could make it so that it would display only if the site title matched “staging” and it gave me code that I can probably make work, but it’ll take more than a simple copy/paste.

It’s nice to see veterans exploring AI 😄 I made lots of small theme components with (Discourse) AI myself too. Been coding & learning a lot with AI the last 2 years, it can save so much time once you master using it.
Ps. You should try out [Cursor](https://www.cursor.com/), you’d be amazed, you can clone a git and talk with any repo! It would be nice to see if we can get similar functionality in a Discourse persona.
