# On another topic

How come the topics that are hidden are shown as “On another topic”?

That happens when you link a post or topic from a PM or a category you don’t have permission to view. For example if I had a message with user _x_ and myself you cannot view it. You can see what I have written as I have shared it but not view it. As for ‘on another topic’ that’s because it is on another topic or message.
