Oneboxing a Kickstarter page with a video shows just the video

I don’t know if this is by design but, I want to put a link to a web site and have it oneboxed. What happens is that I onebox the video in the linked page, not just the page. Example:

Oneboxing:
The Beluga Razor: A Barber Quality Shave...Minus the Barber by Beluga Shave Co. —Kickstarter

Gives:

I think that’s specific to Kickstarter, and probably the way they have their oEmbed / OpenGraph settings set up. Did you try

on that URL?

I did, and it sure looks correct to me…

<div style="left: 0px; width: 100%; height: 0px; position: relative; padding-bottom: 75.002%;"><iframe src="https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/257125380/the-beluga-razor-a-barber-quality-shaveminus-the-b/widget/video.html" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" webkitallowfullscreen="true" mozallowfullscreen="true" style="top: 0px; left: 0px; width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;"></iframe></div>

If you don’t want a onebox put a space (or anything else) in front of the URL:

The Beluga Razor: A Barber Quality Shave...Minus the Barber by Beluga Shave Co. —Kickstarter

It doesn’t quite make much sense, though. If they had some sort of dynamic widget, I would be in favor of replacing it with that, but… Don’t want any time-sensitive content in oneboxes.

The Kickstarter onebox now uses the Open Graph og:video url which is brokenly small and annoyingly autoplays.

The oEmbed video is the correct one.

Can we perhaps give users the option of which meta data they want used for a link?

This autoplay thing is annoying. Can you add it to your list @techapj?
