# Only allow Steam for Authentication

Hello,
I want to configure my discourse forum to only allow authentication through Steam. I searched and found stuff about SSO, as well as a Steam plugin for authentication. I installed the Steam authentication plugin but this still allows normal registration. I’m unsure if Steam directly supports SSO but I do know that it allows OpenID. Does anyone have a bit more information to guide me in the direction of linking this together?

1. Install the Steam plugin and enable it. Ensure it’s working.
2. Go to the site settings and disable `enable local logins` and `enable local logins via email`
3. There is no step 3
