Is there a way to only use the Anniversary component, and remove the birthday component of this plugin?

Thinking of this from the perspective of PII, as to why we want to remove the birthday half of the equation.

There’s the plugin setting `cakeday birthday enabled` you can toggle birthdays on/off with. 👍 That will stop them from appearing, and also remove the date of birth field in the user profile that would collect it initially too.

Thanks! The setting description doesn’t mention this, so I wasn’t sure how it would work. With the removal of this, what happens to those who have filled the field in? Does the birthday remain on their profile just hidden or does it get erased?

It’s still retained in the database, but no longer presented.
