# “Open all external links in a new tab” option does not work for protocol agnostic links

That’s because clicking links in a revision history modal is _not_ a bug.

A bug by definition is something that is a problem with _normal_ use, and clicking links in revision history modals is _not_ normal use.

If on the other hand you mean links elsewhere, such as in posts, then there very well could be a bug.
