# Openid login problem in Safari

Hi,

I have setup a discourse site with Cognito authentication. When the user connects to the site (`https://discourse.example.com`) he goes to the Cognito login page (`https://auth.example.com`). After checking credentials, Cognito redirects to `https://discourse.example.com/login`. In Safari, instead of loading the site, it stays in `https://auth.example.com` and downloads an empty “login” file. Using any other browser it just work fine.

A problem in Cognito? In my Discourse settings?

Hmm, thats odd.

While I don’t have an exact solution for you, I believe that Safari thinks that the page “login” is a non-viewable file. I don’t use Safari, but I would be curious to see what would happen if you tried this on another computer.
