Opinions on the forum I've built

So this is an more interesting one, I’ve gotten interested in a game called “Resonite“ and after some smaller community discussion, finally decided “Hey, discord is getting into trouble, seo is non-existent, lets make a forum!“.

While it is not official in the slightest, I wanna know how the (public) side of this forum looks.

And maybe any feedback, or idea’s on how I could use more of the Discourse ecosystem. I do plan on getting a game supported oauth in there, if and when the game developers decide they want to allow me to :stuck_out_tongue:

It looks nice! I like the warm greys of the theme – it’s easy on the eyes. And the category icons are a nice touch. The cats & subcats seem well organized.

Also: “Disconite”

lmao, almost.

The idea was (because it’s a community forum) to get a creative name that makes sense for the game.

Disc o nite
Disc o urse Res o nite

Oh I got the intent – just couldn’t help making another connection.

I see you’re using the New PM Dropdown Button, Gifs and Custom Header Links! I like the categories - it’s very well-organised (and the icons fit well too!). Have you thought about adding a custom theme?

I think your header links CSS needs a bit of love on mobile.

Best of luck with the forum.

I woudn’t know what custom theme to use that fits the nature of Resonite.

I think @NateDhaliwal meant … one of your own design … Discourse out of the box can look a little … “generic”. But perhaps experiment with ones you can find in Customization > Theme and perhaps you can modify one without having the headache of a total conversion.
