# \[PAID\] Plugin to prevent deletion of posts

**What would you like done?**  
I have a Discourse installation I manage where the owner of the forums wants to prevent members from deleting posts that they create. As noted in a support post I did a couple months back ( [Disabling deletion/withdrawl of posts? - feature - Discourse Meta](https://meta.discourse.org/t/disabling-deletion-withdrawl-of-posts/143317)), there are grace periods for editing posts but not for deleting.

I’d like assistance creating a plugin to limit a non-admin from deleting their posts after a grace period (1 minute, but a configuration option would be better). After the grace period, the delete option should go away for the user.

**When do you need it done?**  
I’m in no rush. This request is sitting in the backlog and I’d like to get it completed.

**What is your budget, in $ USD that you can offer for this task?**  
I’m flexible. Please PM me a rough idea of what you’d think the plugin creation would cost.
