# Parent category should not have "read-only" badge if subcategory is read-only

Here on Meta, for example, #site-feedback:forum-summaries is read-only, but #Contribute > Site feedback is not.

However, in the composer, I see this:

Note that this seems to only be visible when navigating to the category and creating a topic from there. In the normal composer, this does not appear.

So:

1. Perhaps also hide this on that category page?
2. If the parent category isn’t read-only, then perhaps it should not have that badge?
