Parenthesis before email address creates incorrect link?

(Lauren) #1

I typed the following text into a topic response via email:

Selected’s Membership Development Director Mark Cuddy (markc@selectedfuneralhomes.org, 1-712-292-3171) always is looking...

It generated the following:

As a side note, Selected’s Membership Development Director Mark Cuddy (markc@selectedfuneralhomes.org[markc@selectedfuneralhomes.org][1], 1-712-292-3171) always is looking

It duplicated the email address and created a non-functional link. It’s been suggested to me that this may be related to the parenthetical mark.

No repro in a post, so it must be something about the mail path. Any ideas @riking?

Couldn’t get it to happen when submitting a new topic over email.
