# "Password unique characters" and signup form

If I type enough of the same character to reach the minimum, it says that the password “looks good”. Should `password unique characters` be checked at this stage? I’m using 2.8.0.beta7. Thanks.

I should add that when “Create your account” is clicked, despite the “Your password looks good” message, it **then** says “Password has too many repeated characters. Please use a more secure password.”

Interestingly, for “xxxxxxxx” it says “That password is too common” but for “qqqqqqqq” it says “Your password looks good”.
