# Paste URL into selection on mobile

“Paste URL into selection” works exactly how you read it:

U select [some](https://meta.discourse.org/t/paste-url-into-selection-on-mobile/326531/2) text and **paste** a **URL**  **into** that **selection** 🙂

This works on desktop just fine, but it broke recently on mobile.
