# Pinned topics cover latest post in a category

As you can see in the picture above, the pinned topics cover the latest posts in the category. This is a major problem since the users can’t see if there are new topics and comments, which causes lower forum activity. Is it possible to make the pinned topics pinned only in the category itself, but to show the latest post instead on the forum’s homepage?

Well, your users can (and should) unpin these topics so that they don’t show up at the top of the topics list.
