# Please add strikethrough and underline support in Markdown

Markdown suggestions should be directed to [talk.commonmark.org](http://talk.commonmark.org/), or more specifically this existing [thread about the strikeout feature](http://talk.commonmark.org/t/strikeout-threw-out-strikethrough-strikes-out-throughout/820?u=erlend_sh). If Discourse invents its own conventions, that would defeat the whole purpose of creating the CommonMark spec.
