# Plugin: Gitbook activity to Discourse badge(s)

What would you like done?  
Looking for a developer to build a plugin that can link Gitbook and Discourse. You may already know that Gitbook is no longer open source but they do have a [beta API](https://developer.gitbook.com). Naturally I accept the risk of the API’s beta status. I would like a user’s activity on Gitbook to trigger a Discourse badge (or more than one), similar to the [Discourse GitHub plugin](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-github/99895). A note that Gitbook syncs with Github well so there may be shortcut there.

When do you need it done?  
April tbc

What is your budget, in $ USD that you can offer for this task?  
I haven’t done this before. Let’s discuss.
