# Plugin sync category Evernote to category Discourse

You should in theory be able to use something like Zapier - have it trigger when a new note is added and then have it create a new topic in Discourse both of which using the APIs that are available.

Take a search for using zapier on here - is pretty straight forward to set up.

Hey Sora! Sorry for the delay here. I saw your post on the theme topic as well.

I’ve played around with the idea of an importer for Discourse that uses Evernote as the source. But that wouldn’t provide a sync mechanism. That’s a LOT more involved. We can likely pull it off, but just a forewarning, the budget for this would need to be significantly higher than your proposed. There’s a lot of error checks and validations as well as data storage that needs to happen to do this well.
