# PM doesn't work after latest update

I’ve updated the forum today and now users can’t see the content of a PM, only the title shows.

Try [safe mode](https://meta.discourse.org/t/53504?silent=true). Do you have any custom plugins? Themes?

I hate when that happens! Just last week I spent 20 minutes trying to debug a problem that was solved by rebooting a container. 🥂
