# Poll menu point missing after update

Nach dem Update auf 3.5.0.beta4-dev ist der Menüpunkt für Umfragen nicht mehr vorhanden.
Außerdem funktionieren alle vorhandenen Umfragen nicht.
Haben Sie eine Idee, wie ich das beheben kann?

No, same behaviour in [safe mode](https://meta.discourse.org/t/53504?silent=true):
- The menu entry ist missing.
- old polls are not displayed correctly anymore (just as text)
PS: Why is my original question with the picture not visible any more?

Just as an FYI, polls are a core plugin so [safe mode](https://meta.discourse.org/t/53504?silent=true) with plugins disabled would actually turn them off (but there is an option to just disable themes as part of the [safe mode](https://meta.discourse.org/t/53504?silent=true) options, which can still be very helpful).
Just to rule it out, is your `Poll enabled` admin setting toggled on?
If so, are there any errors in your browser console or `/logs` page that could provide any clues?

Ah, looks like an issue with the experimental auto-translate feature that’s currently being worked on here on meta. If I turn off the translation (using the button by the timeline) then I can see your original post.

Yes.

Nothing obvious. But we are analysing some of them now. I will come back to this thread with details.

Our Provider did a rebuild this afternoon (CET+1) and that solved the problem. Was probably caused by a failed update? Maybe wrong order of updates?
