# Polls showing NaN

I have a site that has problems similar to [Editing a poll changes votes to NaN%](https://meta.discourse.org/t/editing-a-poll-changes-votes-to-nan/27879).

There are several multiple-item polls in a post and they were working for some time and now all show `NaN`. There is no open/close in the UX:

Another poll that I created shows the close button:

(And I was able to close and open that poll).

This is `"Discourse 2.9.0.beta14 - https://github.com/discourse/discourse version 4e92a6e8045822fbdea69b7179c6235c55cc9923` (I’ve been trying to update, but they have complicated themes and an overworked theme developer). I guess I can next try restoring this database to an updated staging site to see if that fixes it.

Considering this version is EOL I would try to restore a copy into a production instance on current and checking if it reproduces there.
