POP3 service providers

(Paul Apostolos) #1

Our current email provider (Office 365) doesn’t offer wildcard email aliases such as

reply+someRandomnessHere@mydomain.com

I have seen that Gmail does offer this, but I am just wondering what other providers others are using to get reply by email working.

I’ve looked at a few, but I don’t see “X Random wildcard alias slugs allowed” in the list of features for any of them.

Thanks!

Paul

I just noticed that postfix supported “plus addressing” out of the box in the ubuntu server I setup, so hosting a custom domain (user+address@forum.yorudomain.com) is an option.

setup dkim and spf, and you could be good to go.

Fastmail is another low cost, full featured provider (referral link, but I wouldn’t recommend them unless I was happy)
