# Possible to customize site for paid vs. free membership?

I’d like to have an integrated payment system that would disable the built-in banner ads and maybe give paid users access to a lounge-type category.

So that’s really three features. Is there anything like any of them already in the platform?

The only thing I am aware of is the [memberful.com](http://memberful.com) Discourse plugin.

The new ad plugin we are slowly rolling out supports disabling ads for users with a certain trust level, it could be extended to support groups.

Then you could use the API or something like it to keep a group up to date with paying members.

It would be nice if there was an easy way to link Memberful to the ad-disabling feature, something like the way Google ads are integrated.

Seems like the free site with ads / paid site without is a very common use case.
