# Possible to merge two backups

Team, I acquired a new forum running discourse, and I want to import the  
content/users/posts, etc into an already running Discourse forum (different domain, same niche)

Is there a way to do this? Merge the backup files somehow, then import? Or is there another method that I am not thinking about.

Last time I ran that script, it required some tweaks and there was an issue with uploads, so you’ll want to do careful testing
