I want to nest my group links under ‘Groups’ as a collapsible parent item, so the sidebar shows just ‘Groups’ by default and expands to show Arch, Debian, Fedora, and "All Groups: at the end on click/hover instead of listing them all flat. Not possible atm, and I don’t believe there is theme component/plugin that does this. There is [Discourse Indented Subcategories](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-indented-subcategories/393838), but those don’t collapse afaik. If you really want it, you’ll have to make your own or post in #Marketplace if you have a budget for it. ---

Thanks. So I just tried **[discourse-collapsed-sidebar-sections-by-default](https://meta.discourse.org/t/how-to-make-a-global-custom-section-collapse-by-default/358845/3)** but it does not fire (nothing changes/no collapse). (tested as guest with incognito and logged in with test account). Trying to troubleshoot that. Thanks for follow up, noted on options. ---
