# Post Read-only mode for new User

Hi,
If I have private membership and only private membership category members can only post in thread but new users can see this private group thread but read-only. They will have to access to the private membership to post in their
is their any feature read-only mode for certain level in our forum ?

I’m not sure that I am understanding your question correctly, but if I am, you can set your permissions so that individual groups or TLs can be restricted to See only (i.e. they can read but not reply or start a topic) at a category level.
