When I enter the “Search GIF” widget in the chat, the field to input the search string is not activated. I need to click into the box, in order to be able to type.
It would be nice, if I could just type away (and also make it more accessible to disabled people, who work without a mouse)

It’s working for me chrome/safari/firefox/arc. Can you give me more details on your env?

Ok I know why it was not obvious to me, because I had fixed this problem in another way in my emoji picker branch that I just merged. This PR will also remove the fix you linked: [DEV: removes non needed special case by jjaffeux · Pull Request #30638 · discourse/discourse · GitHub](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/30638)
It should all work without any special case now. Thanks 👍
