Problem with CSS customization

(Alessio Fattorini) #1

Hi guys,
I found here this customization:

    /* dark gray background in body */
body {
  background-color: #333333;
  height: 100%; }
html {
  background-color: #333333; }

/* lt. gray container around main content area */
#main {
  width: 1110px;
  min-height: 500px;
  background-color: #ffffff;
  margin: 0 auto;
  padding: 0 25px 25px; }

/* topic list table styling */
#topic-list tbody tr:nth-child(even) {
  background-color:#F0F0F0; }
#main #topic-list th {
  background-color:#E6E6E6; }

It works for me, but I have a strange sideeffect, when a click on a topic some part doesn’t load. Take a look at this

Could you help me? No other customizations applied

height: 100% is your culprit. The HTML body needs to be able to dynamically grow in size when new posts are loaded, which this seems to prevent. If you need it for styling, try min-height: 100%.

It works like a charm :wink: thank you very much
I owe you a beer!

@elbert just one another advice

I have an issue with the composition box, it shifted on the right and not visualized properly

Hint: if it’s got no dark-gray background, it’s not a valid @mention and probably misspelled. :wink:

To answer your question, don’t style #main. Apply your styles to #main-outlet instead.
