그 아이디어는 모든 임베드된 토픽이 토론으로 이어지지는 않는다는 것입니다. Wordpress에서 새 게시글이 올라오는 빈도에 따라, 메인 Discourse 토픽 목록에 답글이 없는 토픽이 많이 생길 수 있습니다. 메인 토픽 목록에서 답글이 없는 토픽을 많이 보는 것은 커뮤니티 건강에 좋지 않습니다. 이는 비활성 커뮤니티라는 인상을 주기 때문입니다.

토픽이 목록에서 제외(unlisted)되면, 스태프와 신뢰 수준(trust level) 4 이상의 사용자는 여전히 토픽 목록에서 해당 토픽을 볼 수 있습니다. 모든 사용자는 여전히 해당 토픽에 접근할 수 있습니다(예: Wordpress에서 해당 토픽으로 연결되는 링크를 클릭하는 경우). 첫 번째 답글이 달리면 자동으로 “목록에 표시”(즉, 토픽 목록에 정상적으로 표시)됩니다. 이 기능의 근거와 역사에 대해서는 여기서 더 읽을 수 있습니다:
