# Chat issue since version 2026.9.0-latest

When I type messages, they appear strangely.

I started writing test 1, test 2, and test 3

This looks like the [Chat – whatsapp bubbles](https://meta.discourse.org/t/chat-whatsapp-bubbles/286735) Theme Component. Do you have that installed?

You’re right, damn, I really think the bubble component is super cute for chat. Without it, it feels really flat and not very pretty 😅 thanks @NateDhaliwal

Bizarre, I reactivated the bubble component and now it’s working again!
