您好，
我一直在绝望地尝试在我的服务器上安装 Discourse 论坛。一切在最后都进行得很顺利，但我从未收到用于激活我的管理员帐户的确认邮件。
我托管在 Hostinger。我在安装过程中正确输入了我的 SMTP 凭据，但没有收到任何电子邮件，无论是收件箱还是垃圾邮件。
有人遇到过这个问题吗？

感谢您的回复。我没有按照流程操作的唯一之处在于密码，因为其中包含特殊字符，Hostinger 拒绝在没有特殊字符的情况下为我分配代码。但是，我用引号将其括起来了。
我的问题是，我们是否可以跳过此步骤，如果可以，后果是什么？

您说得对，但我尝试了两个不同的端口。我不明白是什么在阻止。唯一可能出问题的地方是密码。您能否告诉我 Hostinger 和 Discourse 之间是否存在兼容性问题？我已经在邮件上花了三天时间。
