# Problems with PWA on iOS

Are there known issues with the Progressive Web App on iOS?
It all works fine but then after a while I start getting problems - the “sticky” header and footer stop sticking and appear in the middle of the page, and also the chat stops working properly and is all blank.
I have to quit the app and relaunch to fix it. I find myself doing this daily.
I’m using the latest stable branch.

I have seen this happen a few times yes, I don’t have a definitive reproduction though, but it’s definitely on my radar. I think it’s started few months ago after an iOS update.
I suspect something with our d-header height computation. But thats all I have for now.
If you ever get a way to constantly reproduce this, please let me know.

I have no way to constantly reproduce it, _but_ it does happen every time I use the site, eventually. I have to force quit the app at least once per day.

I’m a DiscourseHub user, and haven’t seen either on DiscourseHub. I do remember seeing this when testing the iOS PWA, but that was many months ago…

I now can easily reproduce problems both in a PWA and in DiscourseHub for my site. It seems to have gotten even worse recently.
It doesn’t seem to happen on _Meta_ so perhaps it is fixed in a newer version but I am on the stable branch.
To reproduce:
- Start editing or composing a message
- Switch apps to something else while composer is open
- Come back, and the zoom is all wrong
- There will also be bugs with Chat and with scrolling now
Is anyone else able to reproduce this on another forum so I know it’s not just me?

I’ve narrowed this down!
All the zooming issues I mentioned in my last message stop if I disable one Theme Component - the [Google Fonts](https://meta.discourse.org/t/google-fonts/143720) component!
Should I post there or keep posting on this topic?
