Some compatibility updates:
Step editing was always a bit opaque and clunky, so now I’ve built a new visual editor to help you visualise and manipulate workflows from the get-go! ![]()
https://github.com/merefield/discourse-workflow/pull/21
This will get your new workflow process up in no time!
This also addresses a few deprecations.
Due to an up-and-coming naming conflict with core, this plugin has been rebranded “Process Manager”
https://github.com/merefield/discourse-process-manager/pull/22
Note the new repo name.
If you have existing “workflows” all data should carry across - tables and indexes have been renamed only, but all the settings have been replaced and not migrated, so do check through in Admin → Plugins → Process Manager, if this plugin is important to your site. There aren’t many settings so I decided not to create a migration script.
You may need to delete the old Data Explorer queries.
This was a significant amount of work and I did not take this decision lightly.
However, one nice outcome is I believe the purpose of the plugin is now far more clear.
