# Menzioni del riepilogo del profilo

It would be nice to have a kind of mention notation (perhaps !username) that inserts in the markdown a link to the profile summary of the user. It is so easy to @mention a user but to reference a user so other users can learn more about them I need to manually find their summary link and copy/paste into the markdown.

I’m a bit confused. Do not the mentions already do what you want?
Could you explain in detail what you would like? A mockup would be welcome! 😃

You’re right to be confused. I didn’t notice that a mention also serves as a link to the summary page. The feature forces a notification to be sent to that user - but that’s a small price to pay. Thanks and sorry for that small waste of your time 🙂
