# Protect forum against email harvesters bots

Hello,
sorry if it’s duplicate, is there a way to automatically protect email addresses written in posts to be scanned by bots?
(I mean out of doing it manually, like replacing @ by [at] by hand)

You could censor out emails..
In your site settings, search for `censored` and add the regex for emails. This way, emails will be redacted if they are posted.
