Возможно, здесь будет полезен вариант «Электронная почта \> личная электронная почта» вместо попыток защитить обычную электронную почту.

Полагаю, что для общедоступного экземпляра Discourse это не будет тривиальной задачей, независимо от того, как вы настроите электронную почту.
