Users are requesting sortable columns in private messages, similar to the “Latest” view, to efficiently manage a large volume of messages. tobiaseigen appreciates the addition of column headers but notes that sorting would be particularly useful for admins and moderators with a large number of messages. Hooksmith shares a similar use case where their community group receives a high volume of messages, making it challenging to address them in order without sorting. They believe implementing this feature would improve productivity and keep users engaged within the platform.
I thought it was going to come with column sorting, like the typical latest view. I am just now trying to work through a huge backlog of messages as admin, and it would be very handy to be able to sort by which messages have had replies or been viewed.
I think this is mostly a feature for moderator or admin users who have a larger number of messages to manage, so I understand if it’s not a high priority. I can see via this handy data explorer query that it is only me as user 1 and discobot who have thousands of messages in our inbox, sent out automagically to new users. Ordinary civilians tend to have only a handful if any.
Filtering in this view would be helpful too at some stage, to allow us to bulk archive welcome messages that have no reply, for example.

저희도 이에 동의하지만, 사용자 활동량이 많고 배치 단위로 처리하기 때문에 인박스 크기를 작게 유지하는 것이 현실적으로 어렵습니다(즉, 200개라는 숫자가 며칠 만에 쌓입니다). 또한, 사용자에게 단순하고 직관적인 경험을 제공하기 위해 모든 것을 하나의 제품으로 유지하고 싶으므로, 이메일과 같은 다른 모드로 이러한 질문에 답변하는 것을 원하지 않습니다.
사적 메시지의 열이 최신(Latest) 목록과 동일한 방식으로 작동하여, 그룹을 열면 맨 위부터 가장 오래된 게시물을 바로 볼 수 있고, 맨 아래까지 스크롤할 필요가 없다면 좋겠습니다. 공개 카테고리는 사용 사례에 맞지 않습니다. 그룹과 사용자 간에 메시지 내용이 비공개로 유지되어야 하기 때문입니다.
