# Public vs private discussion

Agreed. We have been thinking about this a lot. There are a few things I think we should consider giving people granular control over:

> - How permissions, attribution, edits, and deletions propagate
> - What non-human activity is logged and auditable

My motivation was in part driven by:

Giving people more agency seems like a good way to help get ahead of the fear.
