# Publish txt file

Hey gang.

For Indexnow, they want me to publish a .txt file with a specific value on my site. For example.

[https://domain.com/sjkhdjh333.txt](https://domain.com/sjkhdjh333.txt) Is this possible with Discourse? I see it can be done for Google Adsense with ads.txt, but I don’t see an easy way to do this.

Uploading the .txt file is easy, but you’ll also need to come up with a way to push/submit new topics to the indexnow api in step 3: [How to add IndexNow to your website | Bing Webmaster Tools](https://www.bing.com/indexnow/getstarted)

This will be accomplished via Ahrefs, who give you the option to submit once it has crawed your site!

Yes, I did manage to get it to work by entering the container, and creating the txt file at the root of the site.
