# Push notifications for new flags

I recently got promoted to mod on a forum. It’s a relatively small forum that’s growing quickly. Almost all flags are spam flags from Akismet on posts by brand-new users. And some people that don’t know how it works my take offense to it that their post was hidden since its thought to be spam (I think a few people have complained in topics before). so we try and get to them as fast as possible.
I would like push notifications for when a post is flagged and ends up in the queue since currently I only get notified if the topic was in a category I get notifications in. If this were to be implemented the time a flag takes to be resolved will decrease exponentially.

I had suggested this a while back I think and I got told “maybe in the future”. I’ll look for the post.
