Hello, I was wondering if I could use the Discourse forums software on my own host as the hosting is not in my budget.

I have no access to the machine, I use https://elixirnode.com to host my website

If you are using their VPS option, the one that costs $2 a month here it should work.

Let us know if it works in the end. Discourse for $2 a month would be a record I think (excluding some LowEndBox promos).
