# Question about the warning messages report

Hi,

I do have a question about the report moderator\_warning\_private\_messages.  
What does that report count?  
Because we noticed that for example for February 18th the report does show 11 warnings but we have only sent 2 warning messages that day.  
(warning messages are the ones flagged as warning right after the user name “this is an official warning”?)

I can repro this issue locally. The report is showing sum of _number of posts_ in each warning, instead of counting just the warning topics.

Added on my list to fix.

Just verified that this applies to “User-to-User” messages (`user_to_user_private_messages`) reports as well. We are currently showing sum of number of posts in all messages, instead of showing total number of PM topics.

I believe this is applicable to all “Messages” reports.

Is this intentional? I am not sure.

I updated all the Private Message reports to show topic count (vs posts count), via:

I also added a new report for User-to-User messages with replies.
