# Fragen zu Discourse Forum und Digital Ocean? Hosting?

Hallo zusammen!

Ich wollte ein Forum in meinem Fachgebiet erstellen, habe also eine Domain und ein Hosting-Paket bei einem Anbieter gekauft, der dort auch WordPress installiert hat.

Ich wollte das Discourse-Forum verwenden und habe dafür dieses Tutorial genutzt:

Allerdings habe ich Probleme und auch einige Fragen:

- Bedeutet das, dass mein Hosting-Anbieter im Grunde Digital Ocean ist und nicht die ursprüngliche Seite, für die ich bezahlt habe?

- Ich habe es zwar eingerichtet, aber meine Hauptseite ist immer noch WordPress (es sieht also derzeit so aus: „forum.mysite.xyz"). Ist es möglich, das Forum auf meine Hauptseite zu migrieren?

- Ich habe den Leitfaden befolgt, aber das E-Mail-System funktioniert nicht, sodass sich niemand registrieren kann. Habt ihr einen Tipp, was ich falsch gemacht habe?

Vielen Dank im Voraus. Ich komme nicht aus der IT-Branche, also danke für euer Verständnis.

Sie müssen die [offizielle Standardinstallation von Discourse](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-official-standard-installation/142537) befolgen. Am einfachsten ist es, Discourse auf einem eigenen Droplet ohne andere Webserver zu betreiben.
