# Questions about title and site description admin setting

Hello,
I am new to Discourse and am setting up a new forum. I have a few questions about the title, long and short site description:
1. Where do people see these info in forum?
2. Will search engine pick up these info and use it in the search snippets?
3. Is there an optimized word limit for the descriptions?
I appreciate if anyone has any examples for reference. Thank you very much!
Update:
I have found where the long description go, it’s on the **About page**. I also found that the long site description will be used for URL link preview description. I am still confused about the short description though. ☹

Ah, it appeared in my social media card!
The structure was:
[logo]
[title] - [short site description]
[long site description]
[URL]
