Hi, When I got the instance, the Powered by Discourse badge on the bottom didn’t mind me. Altough, the animation (the little rainbow one) did look really cool! One day though, it dissapeared. (by that the animation) Is there potentially a reason for it, has it been removed or is it something else? Thanks

Yes, the animation is only applied under .discourse-no-touch, so if your laptop has a touch capability it won’t work. Why it suddenly disappeared for you, I can’t be sure. Basically if any pointer gets evaluated as not coarse[1], it gets the above class. Meaning, if any pointer is considered coarse, it does not get that class and the animation will appear. So it could be you’ve connected… Graphics tablets / drawing pads (pens) Game controllers Some presenter remotes, touchpads-on-keyboards,… External touchscreen monitor plugged into a desktop a low-precision pointer. The user can’t easily target small things. The classic example is a finger on a touchscreen — your fingertip covers a big area, so it’s “coarse.” Also things like a Wii remote or Kinect. ↩︎

That was changed in: [imagem] Branding the Discourse splash screen with custom SVG images megaphoneAnnouncements This feature has been highly requested here on Meta Personal branding for the splash screen . We have now added the option to add an SVG, either static or animated, as the splash screen image to replace this default loading dot indicator: [image] If a static SVG is used, then it appears above the loading dot animation: [image] otherwise if an animated SVG is used it replaces the dots entirely: [image] Note that for performance reasons, animated SVGs should use CSS transform or opacity …

No, the animation to this: [image]

I think this one [image] works on my self hosted instance

Does it have a rainbow styled anim when hovered on?

Huh, interesting. Never noticed it before, but on a free plan forum hosted by Discourse, I see it now: [image] Does this happen on your community only?

I’ll have to check, altough many sites don’t have the badge visible.

[imagem] raadtotheraad: Does it have a rainbow styled anim when hovered on? yes it does have the animation

[imagem] raadtotheraad: altough many sites don’t have the badge visible there is an option in settings to turn it off, maybe that is why you don’t see it on all sites

So it seems its an issue on my instance? Not sure why though

Yeah I know Disabling and Reenabling the badge also didn’t work
