# "Quote" button disappears after navigation

We’ve got a forum with a disappearing “Quote” button.

- 3.1.3 stable
- 45 plugins and 30 theme components BUT the problem persists in [safe mode](https://meta.discourse.org/t/53504?silent=true) or with an empty theme
- unable to repro on an identical staging site

First page load:

After any navigation:

Press “refresh” in browser

Yes it is probably a customization, but does anyone have any idea where to look? It’s not hidden by CSS.

There was this one that has been fixed but not in Stable yet -

Thanks - though it happens with Firefox on Windows as well and it does affect non-staff users, the rest of the description looks terribly familiar. Going to see if a manual patch helps tomorrow morning.
