# Quote Post Using Keyboard Includes “q” in Quoted Text

Hey Folks,

I’ve discovered a bug.

As you know you can navigate to posts with “j” and “k” in a given thread, and you can quote a selected post with “q”.

However – Discourse isn’t eating the “q” keyboard shortcut – it’s leaving it ahead of the quoted material.

This is true on the Discourse meta site and on the Keyboard Maestro forum.
